Hermano/a Networkaztlan.com, as far as I know is one of the best venues for Latino activists for political exchange.

 Javier Rodriguez, March 25th Coalition

I believe that in the last several years many of us who have the luxury of being online have gotten daily and actively involved in progressive online groups via Yahoo and other online service providers. We share news articles, analyses and other news items amongst each other when time and circumstances permit us to do so and many of us are also local activists in our local communities.

In many ways, on a collective cumulative basis online groups have proven to be a vital means of getting the truth out about events in Iraq-nam, about attacks on humane rights including attacks on immigrant rights and have helped to expose the attacks by the Bush Rogue Regime against humane rights in general, in essence, reporting the news to its online members and letting the central kernal truths of these vital issues spread out to the general public. These online progressive groups together have brought about a new kind of citizenÕs media.

Plus, as time goes by there are more and more blogs that are related to online groups. Thanks to the power of the Internet there have been great strides among world citizens to provide the truth about vital matters that are important to masses of people worldwide and we are only scratching the surface of Internet technology-based media. We are not dependent only on the corporate media and its gatekeepers. We learn daily and exponentially.

We world citizens will continue to uphold the truth as we see it, be open to valid, caring criticism and always be receptive to new facts as circumstances change, develop and expand along with our own humane consciousness.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.Ó --John 8:32

Peter S. Lopez AKA Peta de Aztlan

It is not fame or notoriety or money that Chicano art is about. It is about a truth we have bled over and continue to bleed over to this very day ... it is about being true to ourselves in the most honest and informed sense.

Ralph "Rafas" Lopez, c/s magazine founder

"Chicanismo ~ an attitude - Chicano is an attitude that is a composit of the culture - you know it when you see it... it's a walk ... it's a talk ... it's a style ... it's certain symbols ... it's certain themes ... it's a manner of presentation... it's a language... it's a manner of expressing oneself... it's born out of struggle to be heard, seen and acknowledged."

RuthAnne Tarletz de Molina

Oye! Chicanada. El Mental Menudo has invoked the gente to speak. The communication between us has awakened the fresh aroma of the mind. Menudo y tamales are great metaphor of intellectual comida. Let us assemble. Let us serve the menudo aesthetico para la union. La nueva de la Raza epocha es significant to those who have subscribed to the Aztlan Network and by those who want to forward Raza art endeavors.

Outline Synthesis:

1. Think tank and definition propositions
2. Intellectual stimuli and instigation
3. Ideological synthesizer and juxtapositions
4. Networking for an Art community matrix
5. Ethnic-oriented considerations
6. Dialogue exchange
7. Vision sharing

Francisco Javier Cortazar Rodr’guez. Doctorat en Sciences de l'Information et de la Communication UniversitŽ Paris.

The Chicano Movement is a civil rights struggle of the 1960-70s. Chicanos who stood against the behaviour of bigotry, injustice and foriegn wars, such as the Vietnam protests. Including the high school walk-outs for better education. Througout the course of social-civic and political motivation the social and cultural movements became a hallmark of artistic idenitiesÐwith communities and political struggles.

Today, we promote Internet web media as a vehicle for individual and social expression. Our Monitors believe in forwarding a diverse people's interests to measure and expand communications/NAC network for the public benifit as a resource to information and technology media arts.
